curQone™ Jamu
A traditional Indonesian tonic with a Turmeric Chai edge

Serves 1-2
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh turmeric
- ½ cup Fresh Ginger
- 1 teaspoon curQone™ Turmeric
Chai powder - 1/4 cup tablespoons of fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup (Traditionally Honey would be used but Maple is a great Vegan alternative)
- Coconut Water – 4 cups

Method

Slice the turmeric and ginger into small pieces.

Add the turmeric, ginger, curQone™ Turmeric Chai powder and coconut water into a high powered blender and blend for approximately 1 minute, or until the texture is smooth.

Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring it to a boil, Simmering for about 20 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the lemon juice and Maple (or Honey) and stir well.

Using a fine mesh sieve, nut milk bag, or cloth, strain the mixture and pour it into a glass bottle and refrigerate until chilled.

Enjoy warm or cold with ice.
