curQone™ Jamu

A traditional Indonesian tonic with a Turmeric Chai edge

Prep time: 5 minutes
Serves 1-2


  • 1 cup fresh turmeric
  • ½ cup Fresh Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon curQone™ Turmeric
    Chai powder
  • 1/4 cup tablespoons of fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Maple Syrup (Traditionally Honey would be used but Maple is a great Vegan alternative)
  • Coconut Water – 4 cups

Slice the turmeric and ginger into small pieces.


Add the turmeric, ginger, curQone™ Turmeric Chai powder and coconut water into a high powered blender and blend for approximately 1 minute, or until the texture is smooth.


Pour the mixture into a saucepan and bring it to a boil, Simmering for about 20 minutes.


Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the lemon juice and Maple (or Honey) and stir well.


Using a fine mesh sieve, nut milk bag, or cloth, strain the mixture and pour it into a glass bottle and refrigerate until chilled.


Enjoy warm or cold with ice.
